Based in Edinburgh, Promote YT is Scotland's national organisation for promoting and developing youth theatre locally, nationally and internationally. At the core of the company is the belief that the provision of quality youth theatre across Scotland is of vital importance in not only nurturing the theatre artists and audiences of tomorrow but also in providing an accessible form of social and cultural development to young people. Promote YT is therefore committed to working with the sector to ensure that every young person in Scotland has access to a safe, inclusive and rewarding youth theatre experience.

For Primary 1 - 7 pupils
Between April - May 2010, I worked for Promote YT (in collaboration with AttFife and Fife Council) to deliver a programme of performance creation workshops and in-service training to primary schools across Fife with the view of enhancing the annual 'Fife Schools Drama Festival'.
Over the course of the project the team worked with over 600 young people from several schools, devising original performances in response to the question 'Where are you from?'
