Borderline Theatre

Workshop Director
April 2009
For 10 - 18 year olds

For Borderline Theatre, I co-delivered two Active Learning Drama Workshops as part of East Ayrshire Council's 2009 Youth Conference, organised by the Council's Department of Educational and Social Services, Community Learning and Development. The aim of Conference was to explore the theme The Stereotyping of Young People (Being Young is not a Crime). Through the workshop we debated the theme, looked at quotations from printed media, created drama using photographs of young people taken from the internet, discussed why we think negative opinions exist, and looked at what young people can do to counteract the stereotypes.
