Perth Theatre / Horsecross Arts
Youth Theatre Tutor
September 2011 - ongoing

I am about to begin working for Horsecross Arts in Perth, primarily with their Junior Youth Theatre groups, exploring all sorts of creative, imaginative and dramatic themes over the next few months.

Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
Drama Tutor

August 2009 - ongoing

For the Royal Conservatorie of Scotland (formerly RSAMD), I have designed and delivered weekend Youth Theatre workshops for Upper Secondary and Lower Primary age pupils.

I have also directed two performances by the young people. 'The 28' was a political piece exploring concepts of government, revolution, and loss (Upper Secondary) and 'The Sadness of King Joe' was a play about adventure involving utopias, knights, dragons, lurgies and mighty battles (Primary 1-2).

Currently, I work as a cover tutor, providing workshops to various classes as required.

Toonspeak

September 2010 - ongoing

I currently work for Toonspeak Young People's Theatre, delivering a range of projects with young people age 11+. At the moment, I am delivering a new weekly project in Townhead (in partnership with Theatre Modo and Depot Arts) as well as weekly youth theatre workshops for young people in Blackhill.

For Toonspeak, I also work as an Arts Award Adviser, a UK-wide scheme which supports young people in developing their creative skills and ambitions.
